Movement has stopped. The force has not.

LOCKED FORCE / RESIDUAL STRESS

Energy without release

A structure can look stable while opposing pressures remain active inside it. Compression, torsion and memory continue to negotiate long after the visible action has ended.

LOCKED FORCE is built around that suspended state. The composition gathers toward a restrained centre, as though the image is holding itself together by pressure alone. The body does not illustrate the force. It becomes its temporary architecture.

STILLNESS IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF ENERGY.

Held between planes

Concrete walls converge around the figure. Light enters through narrow intervals and turns empty space into compression. The campaign removes speed, gesture and noise until only tension remains.

At a distance the garment is quiet. Closer, its surface reveals an engineered instability—a system whose apparent balance depends on forces that never fully disappear.
