THE BODY RECEIVES — AFFERENT
Somatic Circuits considers the body as a living signal system: sensing before naming.
Before thought, there is transmission. AFFERENT begins with the routes that carry sensation inward—from surface to centre, from contact to awareness.
Sensation as structure
The graphic expands across the torso like a field of converging impulses. Dark fibres and restrained electric traces remain embedded in the black surface rather than sitting above it.

The garment as membrane
In the campaign, stretched translucent planes turn the room into a sensory instrument. The model occupies the quiet point where signals are received but not yet interpreted.
